40 years accompanying young people to enhance their growth and employability

Conference on Best Practices in Vocational Guidance

We know that Vocational Guidance with young people from vulnerable environments is key in their process of social and labor insertion, so we have organized a day to share best practices in Vocational Guidance with professional counselors from other social entities.

At the Tomillo Foundation ee understand vocational guidance as a process of socio-educational accompaniment that contributes to discovering and assessing who and how I am, and where I want to go, appreciating vocations as a fundamental lever for our purpose: to be able to make responsible and satisfactory decisions in relation to professional objectives, knowing which studies, occupations and jobs best suit the person.

Vocational Guidance is a strategic line that we at Tomillo promote and encourage so that young people know what their motivations, talents and vocations are. The objective is to prepare them for adult life. We encourage their development so that they can make decisions autonomously and consciously.

During the morning of May 18 and thanks to the impulse of the PROA+ program, we have shared our experience, knowledge and resources on this fundamental aspect in the accompaniment of young people. We have counted on the participation of professionals from other entities and public resources, who have enriched the meeting with the exchange of experiences.
