Do you know the aid program for the labor integration of people at risk of the Community of Madrid?

120 people have discovered their value by improving their employability skills through social and labor market insertion programs through social and labor insertion itineraries developed at Fundación Tomillo, promoted by the Regional Ministry of Economy, Finance and Employment of the Community of Madrid, with co-financing from the European Social Fund.

The process begins with a series of individual interviews between the participant and the counselor. We assess the needs through a comprehensive employability diagnosis (labor, social, personal, family, health status…) and specify the Individual Employability Improvement Plan. For this diagnosis we have our own Employability tool, EMPLEA+, which allows us to quantitatively evaluate the evolution of competency development.

The mainstreaming of digital competence is essential since information and communication technologies are tools for social inclusion and for improving skills to access the labor market, even more so with the scenario proposed by COVID19.

As part of the socio-labor orientation itineraries, all those who participate in them are referred to our labor intermediation department, in order to increase their chances of insertion and as a support for hiring, thanks to our close contact with loyal companies.

The program has an estimated duration of 6 months, during which these actions are carried out:

  • Development/updating of search tools.
  • Knowledge and registration in search channels: job portals. Generation of a support network.
  • Search for training courses and enrollment.
  • Search for job offers through the Internet and registration. Referral to offers.
  • Interview simulation.
  • Alignment of the professional objective: evaluation of results.

The goal is to favor the identification and development of professional competencies, as well as the development of knowledge and specific tools for job search and increased employability.
