Extension of the deadline for applications for the Digital Kit Program

Kit Digital is an initiative of the Government of Spain, managed by Red.es, which aims to promote the digitization of small businesses, microenterprises and self-employed, to help modernize the Spanish productive fabric. 3,067 million, financed by the European Union through the European Investment Fund (EIB). NextGenerationEUThe objective is to digitalize SMEs and the self-employed in all productive sectors throughout the country, within the framework of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan, the Digital Spain 2026 agenda and the SME Digitalization Plan 2021-2025.

The Digital Kit Program has extended the deadline to apply for grants until December 31, 2024. The self-employed and companies with less than 50 employees may apply for Kit Digital grants until that date and qualify for digital vouchers of 2,000, 6,000 or 12,000 euros, depending on the segment to which they belong.

Some of the digitalization solutions that SMEs will be able to request and implement are the following: website and internet presence, social media management, e-commerce, customer management, virtual office services and tools, business intelligence and analytics, process management, electronic invoicing and secure communications and cybersecurity.

Each of the calls for proposals details the requirements for applying for aid, the obligations of the beneficiaries, the maximum amounts of aid for each category of digitization solutions, justifications, payment and control of the implementation of the solutions, among other important matters.
