Summer at Fundación Tomillo has once again been a true explosion of joy, creativity, and shared learning. Our Summer School came to a spectacular close with TOMIFEST, a festival conceived, organized, and celebrated by the children and teens themselves—the true stars of this unforgettable edition.

Throughout July, the participants have immersed themselves in workshops, games, cultural outings, and activities focused on developing personal and social skills. Through the performing arts, environmental stewardship, teamwork, and Ubuntu dynamics, they have cultivated values such as leadership, collaboration, respect, and self-confidence.

All that learning came to life at Tomifest: face painting, balloon twisting, tattoos, dancing, a live DJ, a photo booth, a food truck, and even a welcome kit with a personalized ticket… Every detail was created with care and enthusiasm by the participants, who became the event’s artists, hosts, and organizers.

💚 At Tomillo, we support children and teens with trust, love, and commitment, and what blossoms is extraordinary: a community that learns, dreams, and grows together. Because when we give them the space, the tools, and the encouragement… they simply shine.

The festival took place over two days filled with excitement and fun: On Tuesday, July 29, at the Tomillo Carabanchel Campus, with the joint participation of SAI Carabanchel and SAI Latina. On Wednesday, July 30, at the Tomillo Usera Campus, together with SAI Usera and SAI Villaverde.
