Best practices in Social Action 2013 Award of Spanish Red Cross

The Learning and Solidarity Service program of Tomillo Foundation was honored with the Best Practices in Social Action 2013 Award granted by the Spanish Red Cross.

The program won the Prize in the category “Strategies to promote social and civic participation of people socially excluded or at risk of exclusion”.

The awards ceremony, shared with three other initiatives throughout the Spanish state, took place in Madrid, on November 28 as part of the XI Seminar on Bests Practices in Social Inclusion.

Other winning projects were:

  • Solidarity loans for single-parent families of the Isadora Duncan Single-Parent Family Foundation, in Leon.
  • Pictogram Room, of the Orange Foundation.
  • The Meeting, the restaurant of the time, of Local Association of Entities for Inclusion, in Terrass
