40 years accompanying young people to enhance their growth and employability

We are back to work with dropout prevention programs.

With school back in session, the colleagues of the early school dropout prevention program are back at it again. Back in the classrooms, we started to roll out educational reinforcement programs, psychological support and support for families to prevent early school dropout.

Continuing with the line of innovation and quality of the intervention of the last courses, the pedagogical programming team together with the technical coordination of the work teams of the 11 centers in Carabanchel, Vallecas, Latina, San Blas, Usera, Villaverde and Majadahonda, have developed a joint working day. During the meeting they analyzed the priority needs detected in the children, from which they have specified the priority work competencies for this school year.

The day concluded with what will be the main lines of work for this course, in which the children will enjoy a common thread that will surely favor their motivation and adherence to the projects.

And for the children, gifts. How exciting it is to start the school year with new equipment and school supplies! Once again this year, boys and girls in the program receive from La Caixa Foundation kits of school supplies and sneakers to help them face the return to school with enthusiasm and motivation.

The Caixa Proinfancia Program is a program aimed at children and adolescents between the ages of 0 and 16 from families in situations of poverty or social vulnerability. The Program favors the development of the competencies of children and adolescents and their families to improve their social integration and autonomy in their family, school and social contexts.
